Haunted Houses in Tulsa | three great attractions
Haunted houses in Tulsa, episode 11. I wanted to spend some time to talk about the price differences and the attraction differences between insanity farms and some of the other haunted houses in Tulsa. I’m the first one I want to talk about is one of the ones that’s been around the longest and Tulsa and that one is heck’s house. Heck’s house has been around for 10 years. I believe they’re going on 11 for this next year. And they do a really great job at the gory, a really intense scares ’em and theirs is different than ours. And the fact that, uh, they have two attractions. They are an indoor haunt and they are more expensive than our attractions. So with ours you get three attractions and I believe what the heck’s house you get to, I believe their tickets are $35 and they can go up from there.
If you want to do the express vip pass, which you get to skip the lines up with ours, it’s $25 and you get three attractions. And, uh, with that, um, we don’t really have long lines because we can get people through really fast with the three attractions, each one we stage where we can get customers through in a really fast manner. So everybody isn’t standing in a long line, um, because I know that’s one of the worst thing is customers is they have to wait. Uh, so that’s one big thing for us to be one of the best haunted houses in Tulsa is to make sure a, that people are having a great time and that the customer experience is a really unique one. Uh, I don’t want our customers waiting in long lines and I don’t think we need to offer a vip or express pass for an extra $10 for that.
Hex House also touches the customers when they come through, which we do not do. We feel like people deserve, like they should have their personal space. And by invading that, I think that there’s just too much liability issues there. So that’s one of the biggest differences between heck’s house and insanity forms is that we don’t touch the customers as they come through. A, we train our employees on how to scare customers without touching them. Uh, so I think that makes us one of the best haunted houses and Tulsa, I’m one of the other ones that we have in one of the other haunted houses in Tulsa that we have is a nightmare. A nightmare is run by guts church and they’ve been doing this for a really long time. Um, it’s in one of their buildings which is just a few miles away from insanity farms and they really focus in on the Christian aspect of their haunt.
Uh, I think that’s what really differentiates, differentiates them from others, is that they focus in on the religious aspect of it and they really focus in on real life events. Like I heard they had an abortion scene. Um, they had one that, whether it was a drunk driver seeing, um, and at the end of all of it they ask you, do you believe in God? Um, that’s things that we try to stay away from. And insanity forums we try to focus in on, um, scary and people based on their fears, you know, like being scared of roaches, being scared of snakes, a being scared of the dark, and we really try to focus in on those things versus a more gory or more pressuring type of scares. So, uh, I think that’s what helps make us one of the best haunted houses. And Tulsa is the fact that we focused in on people’s fears.
Um, you know, people, people hate clowns. So we have a, we have a bunch of clowns and our haunt people hate snakes, people hate roaches, people hate spiders. Um, and another cool thing that kind of differentiates and sandy farms from some of the other haunted houses and Tulsa is that we have the only four d Zombie paintball experience. Um, and it’s a really cool experience for our customers and it’s a real one. You can’t get anywhere else at any of you can’t get this experience at any other haunted houses. And Tulsa, uh, this is another thing that really differentiates us is the four D’s. I’ll be painful. Haunted Houses in Tulsa, it’s a really cool experience where customers are immersed in fog and, and, and the smell of gunpowder and the smell of decay and the zombies are coming up as animatronic zombies are popping up and they’re shooting at all of this in a rapid pace and you know, their hearts beating and the strobe lights or playing and it’s just a really cool experience that you can’t get at any of the other haunted houses and Tulsa.
Uh, so going back to what I was talking about with nightmare, their price is $15 with general mission compared to our $25. Uh, but again, you only get that one admission and it’s only really one one event. Uh, you don’t get three attractions like you do edit insanity forms. So I think that definitely differentiates, differentiates us from some of the other haunted houses. And Tulsa, a nightmare also offers a season pass for $100. We don’t offer a season pass. Haunted Houses in Tulsa, we only offered the one, you know, $25, insanity farms pass and you can also purchase an extra $5 for more ammo for our four d Zombie paintball. Um, and also I think nightmare. It also does a express vip pass. Um, and again, that’s something that we feel like we don’t need to offer an insanity farms. Uh, we feel like that definitely helps us become one of the best haunted houses.
And Tulsa is the fact that we don’t have any line issues. We can control our lines based on the events that we’re having. Um, and we really do, we do a really good job at staging them and training our employees to stage them as they come the corn maze as they come through the Zombie paintball. And the chaos is free for it is open to everyone that has a mission. So they just walked through the whole thing and there’s no, no lines at all. So they could do that as much as they want. Um, another one of the haunted houses. And Tulsa is a psychopath and they are technically not in Tulsa. Uh, but I wanted to mention them because I think they’re probably the most closely related to what we’re doing as one of the haunted houses in Tulsa. They are an outdoor hot, uh, so they experienced the same type of issues that we do.
Uh, this year we ran into issues with the weather, um, it rained five out of the eight nights that we were open, so it really put a damper on our kind of our first season because not a lot of people wanting to come out in the rain, but the not good. The nights that we had that weren’t writing, it was really good. Uh, the customers loved it and we had really good feedback. Um, it’s just hard to have an outdoor event when it’s raining or it has rained. It just kinda really, you know, it really discourages some of the customers from coming out. So that’s probably one of the advantages of some of the other haunted houses in Tulsa have over. I’m a psychopath and it’s sandy foreigners is that they’re indoors. So if it does rain, uh, they don’t really have those issues like a psychopath and insanity.
Farmers face a psychopath, their passes are 20, 30 and 40. Uh, they also offer three attractions, um, and I think they also offer an express pass. Uh, but there are more, but the biggest difference between them and us is that there are more expensive. You just want to do one attraction, it’s $20 if you want to do two, it’s 30 and if you want to do three, it’s a 40 and a with us, you pay $25 and get all three attractions. So that’s one of the biggest differences between us and insane and he farms and psychopath and I think that also helps us become one of the best haunted houses and Tulsa is because for $25 you get to do all three attractions. So it’s a great price and it’s all inclusive. Uh, in conclusion, I just wanted to spend some time to tell everyone what the biggest differences between in sandy farms and the other haunted houses and Tulsa are. Haunted Houses in Tulsa, again, we offer an all inclusive $25 pass up. It’s the only four ds Zombie paintball. There is an Oklahoma. And also, um, it’s a farm themed haunt. We’re also the only haunted corn maze that’s around, um, in the Tulsa area. So with all three attractions, with the great price, the great location, I really think this makes sense. Sandy farms one of the best haunted houses and Tulsa.
